![]() When we join our aims with another who shares common goals, we create a bond. When both commit to achieving those goals together, the potential for love is created. When we do commit, we are loving one another. Love is a consistent way of being with another who shares your goals and aspirations. It is to provide to one another, in service of those goals. The more virtue the goals require, the more loving the relationship is. There may be a small amount of love in 2 people working to rob a 7/11, but it’s not likely much.. Love is steady and paced. It is a journey of growth. The gradual building of trust, coupled with empathy and improved service to one another is at the centre of loving bonds. Each person witnesses the growing courage in one another. To obtain a loving relationship, one must first gear themselves towards virtue - towards making the world a better place. One must pursue self responsibility. One must seek to be innocent. From this, the ability to choose and the courage to act in service of good will manifest. Love is as much about sacrifice as it is about gaining. Love will not jump out at us like the movies tell us it will - Love will gently and gradually enliven us, if we choose to be open and curious about it.
